Given the promise of the Isobel Project, artist Sara Guizzo and I conceived of another excuse for collaboration, which ultimately became known as Eleanor Bee Guizzo McMurray. Despite debuting in Seattle a week later than anticipated, on April Fool’s Day of 2012, Eleanor has proven to be no joke, garnering high praise from critics throughout the Pacific Northwest. The outcome of this exhibition has been so good, in fact, that Eleanor (and thematic sibling Isobel as well) will remain on permanent display, evolving daily as designed.
